Astara attended Phelps School for Gifted Children, excelling in creative fields and receiving recognition for her poems and artwork. As a teenager, she developed a passion for helping others while interning at The Creamery Arts Center and continued this by volunteering at food banks, disaster relief organizations, and community clean-ups. Having overcome personal challenges and achieved stability, Astara is now deeply committed to helping others. Her philosophy is: "By speaking openly about life’s struggles, such as homelessness and inequality, we can foster deeper healing and build a stronger community for future generations.

Bonnie is a native Californian, now settled in San Francisco, after living in several states. Her life went from marriage, college, motherhood, owning a catering business, and homeownership to being unhoused off and on for over eight years. She reminds us that it's a reality that can happen to anyone. Now 69, she lives in a beautiful studio with her service dog Biscotti, and has been housed for nearly 3 years. She states that she couldn't have done it without the support of many friends and organizations, especially Miracle Messages. She is grateful for the opportunity to give back to those who helped her.

Her passion is organizing people in the community for a common goal: to end homelessness and improve people's quality of life. Her career goal is to become a college counselor and serve diverse student populations, especially in underrepresented communities. Her leadership qualities include a service-oriented approach with compassionate driven morale. During her free time, she loves volunteering at her local church. Diana enjoys rock painting, hiking, swimming, meditating, and practicing yoga. She is excited to meet you and collaborate on this philanthropic cause that she loves and cares deeply about.

Jamie found herself in the precarious position of being unhoused in 2019. The People’s Concern Organization reached out, providing her with a hotel stay and then shelter. After 14 months, she managed to move into her new home. In 2023, she learned about Miracle Messages and their programs and signed up for a phone buddy. Within just a few months, she received a call about Miracle Money. In February 2025, she received another call regarding the Dignity Fund offered by Miracle Messages. She accepted the funds, along with support and agreements for surveys, and other related activities. She continuously served the homeless and unhoused since childhood through various programs and the Catholic Church. Her life has been enriched through service work and social programs. Fun Fact: Mercedes Benz trained her at their factory and awarded her a Lifetime Achievement Award for her contributions. She helped elevate their standards while embracing luxury design and innovation.

Stephen Hardy is honored to be part of the Miracle Messages Advisory Council. He grew up in Brooklyn, NY, moved to California as a teenager, and served in the USMC for 4 years. He enjoys writing short stories, and stage plays and also loves sewing. His volunteer work began at 13, helping at his brother’s daycare and with his mother to collect food and clothes for the homeless in NY. He later started a volunteer service, delivering meals, hygiene items, and support to small groups of homeless individuals. His passion is to make a difference for the unhoused and he’s excited to be part of Miracle Messages, an organization with the ability to create lasting positive change.
