Who We Are
Miracle Messages is an award-winning 501(c)(3) nonprofit that helps people experiencing homelessness rebuild their social support systems and financial security, primarily through family reunification services, a phone-based buddy system, and basic income pilots.
To date, we have:
Reconnected 800+ families, with an average time separated of 15 years; 15% of reunions have led to housing and 80% to a positive outcome.
Matched 300+ unhoused neighbors with volunteers for weekly calls / texts.
We’re on a mission to end relational poverty on the streets. Join us.

How It Works
Family Reunification (Miracle Messages)
A person experiencing homelessness records a short message to a loved one, often with the help of a local referring partner or volunteer. Then, our global network of volunteer "digital detectives" attempt to locate the loved one, deliver the message, and facilitate a reconnection.
Phone Buddy System (Miracle Friends)
A person experiencing homelessness signs up for our phone-based buddy system, often through a local referring partner.
Then, they are matched with a trained volunteer for weekly phone calls and texts.
